Why is a Risk Assessment needed?
- You are required by law to control the risks in your workplace.
- It helps to accurately identify the potential hazards in your workplace and who may be at risk of injury or illness.
- It also helps determine if existing control measures are adequate and reduces costs associated with worker absenteeism.
- Risk assessments must be kept up to date and reviewed if there is any significant change to activities, environment or individual workers.
Remedial Workplace Assessments
Specifically, for users with existing injuries or disorders that may be affected by working tasks and the workplace environment. Minimises absence-related costs and ensures the business is meeting its obligations to avoid compensation claims.
Remedial assessments take up to 60 minutes, including a pre-assessment case history, and are completed by an assessor with advanced knowledge and experience, supported by our team of clinical experts and ergonomists.
Advice and adjustments are made during the assessment to eliminate risks where possible at the time. When risks are identified that cannot be suitably reduced during the assessment then further recommendations are made in a detailed final report.
